Richard Binder will present his renowned nib smoothing workshop at the Commonwealth Pen Show on Sunday, September 20, starting at 8:30 a.m. Information and registration instructions at Richard’s Workshop page. You must have purchased a show ticket or Weekend Trader pass for entry to the workshop.

The 2026 edition of the Commonwealth Pen Show
will be 2 days filled with great pens and great
people, Friday–Sunday, September 18–20.

New this year! The Com­mon­wealth Pen Show will open for Weekend Traders Only at 3:00 p.m. Friday, with a meet and greet Pizza Party beginning at 5:00 p.m. Weekend passes will be available for purchase on Friday! See the Visitors page for more info! Pizza!

The 2026 show will be in our favorite venue, the Center for the Arts in the historic Somerville Armory, 191 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA.

Food service will be available in ROOTED ARMORY CAFE & FARM­STAND, on the Armory premises; for more information, see the Visitors page.
